Inside Sales Representative

We are a small but very successful family company in flat glass products founded in 1973 in the Netherlands. Since 2017 we are operating from Gibraltar. Because our trade continues to grow steadily we are looking for a new colleague who will reinforce our Sales department.

The role

After you have been trained in your new position, you will be responsible for a group of customers within a specific sales area (Latin America). You maintain contact with our relations by issuing and following up quotations. When you close a deal you take proper care of handling the order flow. in order to do this properly, you work closely with your colleagues from the purchasing & logistics department. Ultimately, you are responsible for the entire process from requesting a quote to manage all receivables.

What you will do

• Preparing, issuing and following up quotations.
• Placing orders and monitoring the order process, ensuring that everything is progressing as agreed with the customer.
• ensure that any complaints are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.
• ensure that your customers meet the agreed payment conditions.

Your profile

You are a committed professional. Making arrangements, closing the deal and organizing everything properly for your customers makes you tick. You are focused on teamwork and;

• you have some years of sales experience, e.g. as a sales executive or a customer service role
• have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or higher
• have little trouble organizing the paperwork
• know how to express yourself professionally in Spanish and English via Skype, e-mail and telephone
• You are full time available.

Knowledge of the glass industry is a plus, but not a requirement. We are more looking for candidates who want to learn this trade and stay with us on the long run.

Standard Glas is a dynamic, internationally operating trading company in flat glass products. The glass is bought worldwide and shipped in containers to sales outlets around the world. The sale is also carried out by the management with the support of a professional and dedicated team of internal employees. We are a small but very successful family company with currently 10 employees. We are expected to move into our newly built office before the summer. Because our business is growing steadily, we are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative.
